Emergency officials on South Carolina’s north coast are holding a town hall meeting to help people prepare for hurricanes.
Wednesday’s meeting is being held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City.
Officials expected to attend the meeting include the heads of the emergency management offices in both Horry and Georgetown counties.
Red Cross officials will attend, as well as a representative of the South Carolina Insurance News Service who will discuss the danger of flooding.
