Jim McCahill has announced his retirement from active duty with St. James Insurance Group and St. Johns Insurance Co.
Robert Lucas will continue in his role as president and CEO of the parent company, St. James, and Reese Bowen remains president of St. Johns.
McCahill is the founder and chairman for the Orlando-Fla.-based insurance program organizations. McCahill has been CEO of the group since 1990. He will continue his role as director and remains the majority shareholder of the organizations.
St. James Insurance Group and St. Johns Insurance Co. are privately held, writing in excess of $300,000,000 in premium.
