Patriot National Insurance Group has named Dean D. Watters as president of its subsidiary Patriot Underwriters, Inc. In his new role, Watters will oversee Patriot National’s managing general agency, program administration and business process outsourcing businesses.
Watters was previously senior vice president of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Patriot National Insurance Group and will retain these responsibilities.
Watters joined Patriot National Insurance Group in 2008. Before joining Patriot National, he was vice president/general manager of the Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Insurance Services Division. Watters has also held positions at CyberComp, American International Group, Fremont Compensation Insurance Co. and Zenith National.
Patriot Underwriters, based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., underwrites and administers alternative market and traditional workers’ compensation insurance plans for insurance companies, segregated cell captives and reinsurers
