Turner Named President of Patriot Underwriters in Florida

Richard G. Turner has been named president of Patriot Underwriters Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Turner was previously executive vice president of parent company Patriot National Insurance Group and will retain these responsibilities. In his new role, Turner will oversee the managing general agency, program administration, and business process outsourcing.

Turner joined Patriot National Insurance Group in 2008. Before joining Patriot National, he was with Lexington Insurance, Liberty Mutual and Commonwealth Risk Services.

Patriot Underwriters underwrites and administers alternative market and traditional workers’ compensation insurance plans.
