Chris McLeod has been named as president of the High Point, N.C.-based Smart Choice Agents Program. She will take over as president effective November 16.
McLeod brings more than 40 years of industry experience to her new role. She has served in every area of the industry from personal and commercial lines sales and service, and agency management for a national brokerage firm. Prior to her appointment as president of SmartChoice, she served as vice president of professional development for the Independent Insurance Agents Association of North Carolina (IIANC).
As president, McLeod will supervise all sales and servicing roles within the company, facilitate agency development with partner agencies and carriers.
Chris holds numerous professional designations and industry awards, including: Insurance Professional of the Year, Boss of the Year for Greensboro Insurance Women, a NAIW Region II ACE Award Winner, a 2002 Golden Gavel Designee, served as former president of the North Carolina Association of Insurance Women (NCAIW), and much more. She was also awarded the highest honor from the IIANC, the “Ernest S. Young Education Award.”
The Smart Choice Agents Program is a wholly-owned program of Worldwide Insurance Network Inc. (WIN) that provides independent agents with markets, training and support.
