Insurance agency Brown & Brown Inc. as promoted Anthony Strianese to the position of regional president. Strianese, who has served as one of the company’s regional executive vice presidents since 2007, is responsible for the company’s wholesale brokerage division, including Decus Insurance Brokers Limited, which commenced operations in 2008 in London, England.
Additionally, Strianese is responsible for certain of the company’s public entity operations located in Georgia, Texas and Virginia.
In his new position as regional president, the company said Strianese will continue to be responsible for his current regional operations but will have an expanded role in helping to grow the company’s overall operations.
Strianese began his career with the company in January 2000 and together with the company, founded Peachtree Special Risk Brokers, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown. Prior to 2000, he was with The Home Insurance Co. and Tri-City Brokers of New York City.
Brown & Brown Inc. is headquartered in Florida.
