Willis North America has appointed Rob Carron as an account executive with Willis North America Yacht Practice in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The North America Yacht team serves clients worldwide in partnership with the Willis Superyacht specialists located in the United Kingdom. Together, the group manages insurance for 24 of the world’s top 100 largest luxury yachts.
Carron will be responsible for new business development and delivering Willis’ unique service platform to the owners of the world’s most prestigious luxury yachts.
Willis said his appointment is part of Willis’ strategy to build on its Superyacht group worldwide. Carron will report to Nancy Poppe, North American Yacht Practice Leader, Willis Marine.
Prior to joining Willis, he served as vice president, senior sales and risk consultant, Yacht Practice for Marsh USA Inc.
