Florida’s First Light Program Managers Acquires Frontline Underwriters of Mississippi

First Light Program Managers of Dania, Florida, said it has acquired substantially all of the assets of wholesale broker Frontline Underwriters Inc. of Madison, Mississippi. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Since 2003, Frontline has provided commercial auto liability, physical damage and motor truck cargo insurance to the trucking insurance industry on a wholesale basis through a network of retailer agents who focus on trucking insurance.

First Light Program Managers is a managing general agency that offers specialty insurance products for various industries through a network of insurance agencies.

Anthony L. Johnson is chief executive officer of First Light and Gregory B. Crotty is president of Frontline. Crotty and his associates will continue to operate at their existing office in Madison.
