Howard Named President of Florida-Based National Retail Agency Brightway

Jacksonville, Florida-based national insurance agency franchise company Brightway Insurance has promoted Talman Howard to president of the company, with day-to-day management responsibilities for the organization. Howard has served as chief marketing officer for Brightway since December of last year.

In his prior role with Brightway, Howard was responsible for company’s national distribution, carrier relationships and marketing. Before joining Brightway he had a lengthy career in the insurance industry, including marketing and distribution responsibilities at Progressive and Kemper.

The company also announced that Heather Wesch, Brightway’s director of business development, has been named assistant vice president of marketing. In this new role Wesch will be responsible for leading franchise sales, business development and marketing.

Brightway has approximately 200,000 policyholders and 600 associates in 115 offices, and generates more than $300 million in annual sales. The company expects to reach $1 billion in annual sales by 2018.
