S&S Insurance Solutions of Florida, a division of East Providence, Rhode Island-based Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage, has acquired Imperial Insurance of Naples, Florida. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Imperial Insurance is a multi-line insurance agency, formed in 1995 by owner/president Jeffry Stuek, to provide personal and commercial line coverages in Southwest Florida. Imperial Insurance will continue to serve clients in the Naples and Collier County marketplace, but as a division of S&S Insurance Solutions of Florida.
This transaction represents S&S Insurance Solutions’ first acquisition since its recent establishment this past summer in Fort Myers, Florida.
S&S Insurance Solutions of Florida said the transaction allows S&S to continue its growth strategy in Southwest Florida.

Headquartered in East Providence, Rhode Island, Starkweather & Shepley has additional offices in Westerly, Rhode Island; Martha’s Vineyard, Sturbridge and Westwood, Massachusetts; Bristol and Shelton, Connecticut; and Fort Myers, Florida.
