Officials said more people died on South Carolina roads in 2014 than in 2013.
The Highway Patrol reported at least 807 deaths on state roads in 2014. That is up from 762 deaths in 2013, but less than the previous two years.
South Carolina is still seeing an increase in pedestrian deaths. Troopers say 106 people were killed on foot in 2014, a number that has steadily increased over the past several years.
Fatalities were reported in every county of the state last year. In 2013, Edgefield County reported no traffic deaths.
