Only in America! American tourists in India are assaulted & raped, and its news headlines, but nothing more. The corrupt Indian government will make all sorts of noise about the incident, but they are as greedy, corrupt & incompetent as they come. They are just looking for money from someone…….
Really, Barb? Last I knew, looking in garages wasn’t against the law and certainly doesn’t warrant being partially paralized. I think the cop overreacted. He needs better training, though, not getting fired.
I’m normally pro-law enforcement, but in this case Parker violently assaulted a 56 year-old man that was posing no threat to anyone’s personal safety. Fire him. Charge him, even. No amount of “training” is going to give him the mindset necessary to be an effective peace officer.
I would ask myself a more general question here as to what is happening with this country.
Just look how the “officers” are dressed and outfitted. A certain European regime some 70 years ago comes to mind where the elite troops, secret service and monitors where also dressed in black….
Where is the US drifting toward to? A totalitarian run nation. Follow orders or else and you are a suspect anyway….
