Florida’s Prepared Insurance Joins Write Your Own Flood Program

Prepared Insurance Company (PIC), a Florida property/casualty carrier, has been approved to participate in the Write Your Own Flood Program (WYO).

The insurer is offering Florida consumers the ability to purchase flood and homeowners insurance through one carrier with one claims process facilitated by a single company adjuster.

The WYO Program operates as part of the National Flood Insurance Program and subject to its rules and regulations.

PIC offers personal and commercial flood policies throughout the State of Florida through independent agents.

Acceptance into the WYO requires evaluation of several performance metrics including financial strength, exceptional service standards and a minimum of five years in the P/C business.

PIC has partnered with Torrent Technologies, a platform and service provider in the flood insurance industry, to process its flood policies.
