Keystone Insurers Group is continuing its expansion in Kentucky with the addition of a new franchise partner in Maysville. Richmond Insurance Agency of Kentucky is the 25th independent insurance agency in the state to join Keystone’s growing group of partners. Richmond Insurance Agency will continue to be led by President Eric Schumacher.
According to Keystone Vice President of Kentucky Nancy Tehan, the Richmond Insurance Agency of Kentucky already has a seven-year history with Keystone as a satellite office of the West Union, Ohio-based Richmond Insurance Agency, a Keystone partner since 2008.
Schumacher says the resources of Keystone will support the agency’s future growth strategy.
Located on the Ohio River in Mason County, Richmond Insurance Agency of Kentucky was established in 1995 by Richmond Insurance Agency of West Union, Ohio. Schumacher began his insurance career upon graduation with Farm Bureau. In 2000, he joined Richmond Insurance Agency of Kentucky.
Keystone Insurers Group is headquartered in Northumberland, Pa. Keystone is owned by its franchise partners and employees in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. In addition, KIG conducts business in Illinois and Missouri. Each partner is an independent agency.
