Almost 40 people are looking for a new place to live after an overnight fire destroyed part of an apartment complex in Columbus, Georgia.
Authorities say the Lullwater Apartments caught fire around 1 a.m. Monday.
No one is injured, but one of the buildings was destroyed and residents are without homes.
Battalion Chief Terry Herring said flames spread after getting into the attic of an apartment building.
Apartment managers are seeking donations for residents, and the Columbus police and fire departments are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
