One person has died and 11 homes have been destroyed following a fire at an apartment complex in Harriman, Tenn.
Harriman Fire Department Chief David Bailey tells news outlets that the fire broke out Sunday morning at the Oasis Apartments and Service Station.
Firefighters extinguished the flames Sunday and discovered the body of the victim. The victim’s identity has not been confirmed and authorities have not determined the cause of the fire.
Walnut Baptist church is collecting items for families that have been affected by the fire.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is reviewing the case.
