A Raleigh man has been charged in an apartment fire that displaced dozens of people.
Local media outlets report that Anthony Antoine Ridley has been charged with first-degree arson.
The two-alarm fire broke out Thursday night at the Pines of Ashton Apartments. Officials say it took about an hour to get the fire under control.
Fire officials say 41 people have been displaced, and 29 people lost their homes altogether.
Ridley was being held in the Wake County jail on a $500,000 bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
