Gateway-Acentria Insurance has merged with L&S Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., based out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
L&S is a full service independent insurance agency specializing in personal lines coverage, such as home, auto, flood and more. The current L&S Insurance staff will relocate their office to the Gateway-Acentria Insurance main office, also located in Fort Lauderdale, by June 5.
According to David Stanton, managing director of Gateway-Acentria Insurance, the partnership continues its expansion in the local area and expand upon its current services.
Acentria Insurance is the parent company of Gateway-Acentria Insurance and has over 20 offices throughout Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Through this partnership and acquisition, L&S Insurance will expand its offerings to both Central and South Florida. L&S Insurance specializes in personal lines with a primary property insurance focus on home insurance. Additionally, L & S Insurance offers automobile insurance, recreational policies and casualty insurance, as well as extensive financial services, including personal and business planning.
L&S is an independent agent of Progressive Auto Insurance Company and Traveler’s First Floridian Insurance, among others.
