it was the perfect storm. 190+ winds, a presidential election, an insurance commissioner running for governor of Florida, cluster writing by agents and brokers, it being Florida and the Wild west all in one. I remember directing traffic one night at the intersection outside of the hotel when the volunteer before me got tired.
Perhaps the State of Florida should embark on a program to make people move out of there before another storm hits. If it isn’t a Zika mosquito alarm, it is fear of another hurricane. I would be more afraid of land subsidence or sink holes before a hurricane hitting.
