Rocky Mount, N.C.-based MSH Insurance Agency has launched a new retail insurance agency to service clients in the hospice, home health and durable medical equipment industries.
The new agency will be called Meddix Insurance, and will offer general liability, property, automobile, workers compensation and umbrella /excess liability coverages.
In creating this new agency, MSH agency has partnered with Qualis Management, which offers technical support and consulting services to health care providers.
Meddix Vice President of Business Development John Curry and Hall Thorp President of said the agency will not only work to reduce exposure to risks for this segment, but also provide expertise to reduce premiums by reducing claims.
Meddix has announced that the program will initially provide services in the Southeast, and plans to expand to the rest of the country later this year. It is currently offering coverage in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
