Be it mother nature or terrorists our electric infrastructure in this nation is old at best and in some places completely out of date. As a nation we need to come to grips with how at risk we all are to loss of power and take steps to protect ourselves.
I’ve been to PC since Michael and have many loved ones there. If anything, Gulf Power and the associated companies have been going above and beyond getting the lights back on. Some places will be without power for awhile, yes, (especially considering how bad and widespread the destruction is) but many places have been lit back up a week or more ahead of schedule. My compliments.
