InsuranceHub of Georgia Adds Staff to Growing Transportation Division

Lawrenceville, Ga.-based InsuranceHub has doubled the size of its commercial transportation division with the addition of several new team members.

Within the last three months, the following people were hired to enhance the company’s Transportation team:

The transportation division was initially launched in October 2016 with a focus on commercial transportation insurance and strategic advisement for the tow truck and trucking trade. Growth in the division prompted the hiring of additional specialized staff this year.

According to Ed Hemmer, associate vice president of Transportation at InsuranceHub, transportation made up about 10-15 percent of Insurance Hub’s new business just 3 years ago and it is now 40-50 percent.

InsuranceHub’s offering includes motor carrier monitoring at zero additional cost to the trucker. All InsuranceHub producers are also currently enrolled in MCIEF’s (Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation) Transportation Risk Specialist (TRS) designation curicullum.
