Harden, an insurance, risk management and employee benefits firm in the Southeast, has formally expanded into the South Florida market with the opening of an office in Fort Lauderdale.
The firm currently serves many clients in South Florida, nationally, and internationally.
Harden has added Doug Beller as executive vice president, South Florida Market leader and Employee Benefits Account director, which will allow it to continue its organic growth strategy and enhance its executive leadership to support its succession plan.
Harden has chosen to remain independent to maintain its mission to provide insurance, risk management, and employee benefits. The expansion into the South Florida market is part of Harden’s long-term strategic plan.
Beller has more than 20 years’ experience and senior level industry expertise in sales and operations management of property, casualty and employee benefits products. Prior to joining Harden, he was senior vice president and managing director at USI Services, where he provided strategic leadership and management oversight to the entire South Florida insurance operations. He was accountable for sales and marketing strategies, major account relationships, and process improvement/best practices.
Harden is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., with offices in Amelia Island, Tampa and now Fort Lauderdale. Harden focuses on serving enterprise clients, middle market businesses, and high net worth individuals. Founded in 1953, Harden employs more than 130 associates.
