The Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance (TDCI) has announced that Tennesseans seeking certification as insurance producers can now take their insurance exams remotely.
Starting May 21, 2021, exams for prospective insurance producers can be taken at home, at the office or any secure location via TDCI’s third-party testing partner Pearson VUE in addition to ongoing in-person testing at locations across Tennessee. The exam is conducted through OnVUE online proctoring. A live proctor will monitor through the webcam on the tester’s workstation to ensure a secure exam experience.
Scheduling for remote exams is now available online.
Additional details including testing requirements, ID requirements, Pearson VUE testing policies and more is posted on Pearson Vue’s Tennessee insurance testing page.
