After adding 85 employees in the last three years, trucking insurer Canal Insurance will move to a new headquarters in downtown Greenville, South Carolina.
The company, which specializes in commercial trucking and other specialty transportation insurance, said it will move to the larger building, the former Bank of American site, in mid-2022, according to a local news report. Founded in 1939 and rated “A-” or excellent by AM Best, the firm currently has offices north of downtown Greenville.
“As a family-owned company, we have considered Greenville home for more than 80 years and share a keen appreciation for the advantages of expanding operations and recruiting employees in such a vibrant city and business environment,” said CEO Paul Brocklebank.
