The founder and head of CoventBridge Group, a major investigations firm for the insurance industry, will be stepping down as CEO and will now serve as vice chairman of the company, CoventBridge announced.

Dave Merrill, who launched the Jacksonville-based surveillance and claims investigation firm, will be replaced by Doug Merriman. Merriman was named the new president and CEO, but will continue to work as chief operating officer, the company said in a news release.
CoventBridge’s services include surveillance, special investigations unit work, along with compliance, claims investigations, counter-fraud programs, desktop investigations, social media and vendor management programs.
