California-based Relation Insurance Services has reached across the country to acquire trucking industry specialist Allen Insurance Group, headquartered in Georgia.
Based in Fort Valley, Georgia, Allen offers commercial lines and daily rental and modular container programs, the companies said in a news release. Gary Allen and Tricia Adams will continue with the merged company.
Relation Insurance, with corporate offices in Walnut Creek, California, calls itself a fast-growing national insurance agency with 125 locations around the country. It is backed by Acquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm.
