Matt Groenheide, previously with GuideOne Insurance, HDI Global and Zurich, has joined New Paradigm as senior vice president and director of specialty programs.
Groenheide will lead a program that matches parametric risk transfer with conventional insurance and reinsurance, the Fort Lauderdale-based company said in a news release.
New Paradigm is an insurance holding company whose subsidiaries provide parametric insurance and reinsurance, often for risks that are difficult to insure. The firms focus on rapidly settling claims and providing coverage for hurricanes, earthquakes, catastrophes and terrorism for corporate, municipal and personal-lines clients.
