Seaglass Insurance Group, with offices in Estero, Florida, is a new managing general agent offering workers’ comp insurance through a national carrier, along with risk management and safety programs.
Seaglass was founded by three industry veterans: CEO Tod Austin, who previously was with Varney Re and the MEMIC Group; Scott Meinke, senior vice president for underwriting, who was with MEMIC and Accident Fund Insurance Co.; and Tonya Hawker, senior vice president of loss control, who has 30 years’ experience as a safety management professional.
