It really doesn’t help that all of the rewrites to Citizens have been slowed down by constant system errors that make it hard to stay on the website and rewrite policies from other companies going down.

Everyone involved in this disaster of an insurance market should be ashamed of themselves. From the OIR all the way down.

The roofing scams have screwed Florida consumers and the Florida property insurance market. Its a shame that legislators weren’t more aggressive on solutions to address this after so many years. Yes, there are other factors, but the primary cause for all of these headaches are the roof scams. At the same time, Citizens is completely overwhelmed and constantly has systems problems. Lots of frustration out here.

You must be kidding me Citizens. So incompetent, pathetic system, looking for ways to cancel policies instead of knowing why they were created. Did you not see this coming? Ah never fear lets just keep doing re inspections and worrying about that rather than the thousands of policies set to cancel due to another failed takeout company. Give us a system we can use so we can do our damn jobs!

Paradise is only for the rich corporate entities who all moved down to Florida. Passing all the new legislation after Surf Side collapsed is causing many to lose their condo or a home built in the 1970’s and beyond. Insurance companies and banks don’t care. Federal Flood Insurance is a joke if you could pay the premium there’s no money so let’s deny the claim and wait for black mold to really disqualify your property. Even auto insurance is 200% higher because of over population. How many tent cities and derelict properties will it take before No insurance company will write anything in Florida? Who’s going to bailout Big Banks and Insurance Companies this time? Flashback of 2008 all over again!
