Marsh McLennan Agency, a subsidiary of Marsh, has acquired Steinberg & Associates, an independent agency based in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Steinberg, founded in 1969, offers employee health and benefits, estate planning and other services to businesses and residents in the Carolinas and Georgia, the companies said in a news release. President Hank Steinberg and the agency’s employees will now join Marsh McLennan.
Marsh McLennan said it has 170 offices in North America and offers business insurance, employee benefits, retirement and other insurance solutions. Parent company Marsh is one of the world’s largest insurance brokers.
