Two of the largest insurance agency partnerships in the South have merged, creating the nation’s fourth-largest partnership, with some $600 million in property/casualty revenue, the groups announced.
Georgia Agency Partners, an agency group with 30 officies in the Southeast, has joined SecureRisk a partnership program based in Tucker, Georgia, that includes more than 100 independent agencies in all 50 states, according to a news release.
SecureRisk and GAP have been ranked 5th and 14th in the Insurance Journal’s Top 20 Agency Partnerships.
“We are thrilled that GAP agencies are becoming part of the SecureRisk team,” said SecureRisk CEO Brian Bandrowsky. “This alliance gives us greater strength, buying power, and reach. With these advantages, we can deliver more options and better value to our customers.”
SecureRisk said it was founded as Shared Agency Services in Georgia and later expanded into Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. It rebranded in 2012. Member agents provide auto, homeowners, commercial p/c, workers’ compensation, bonds, risk management, and other products.
GAP is headquartered in Statesboro, Georgia.
