PointeNorth Insurance Group, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the Southeast, has acquired McCrary-Daniels Insurance, based in Douglas, Georgia.
It’s the fifth acquisition this year and the second in southern Georgia, PointeNorth officials said in a news release. The firm said it offers growth opportunities for agencies looking to partner with an organization that can invest in their future growth. Agents can benefit from a perpetuation strategy that may include equity, additional employment and advancement opportunities for their employees.
PointeNorth, with headquarters in Atlanta, has acquired more than 50 agencies in recent years.
McCrary-Daniels has been in business for 100 years, offering personal and commercial insurance products. Johnathan Day is an owner and Henry (Randy) Stallings Jr., is owner/managing member.
