Alliant Insurance Services, known as one of the larger U.S. insurance distribution companies, has named Kevin Wintermute executive vice president of its employee benefits group, based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Wintermute has 28 years in the business. Previously, he was a senior VP for 20 years at Willis Towers Watson, a global brokerage and risk advisory firm, where he played a role in several mergers and acquisitions.
Wintermute earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, Alliant said in a news release.
