A new flood insurance quoting platform aims to streamline the process for insurance agents and brokers, providing real-time quotes from federal and private insurers all in one place.
Flood Quotes is owned by National Flood Insurance LLC, and is based in Melbourne, Florida. The company is not owned by the National Flood Insurance Program, or NFIP, which is managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. But the new platform is designed to allow agents to quickly compare NFIP and private insurer premiums and to easily bind policies, the company said in a news release.
National Flood Insurance LLC is a privately held insurance agency that began in 2010. Tuna Siraci is the managing partner, according to Linkedin and the Florida Department of Financial Services’ agent verification site. Siraci currently has no active license or active appointments with carriers, but was once appointed with multiple personal lines insurers, the DFS page indicates. Patricia Medina is listed as the agent in charge at National Flood.
