Lynch

The Baldwin Group, formerly Baldwin Risk Partners and based in Tampa, has named new leadership for its insurance advisory solutions section that handles retail property-casualty and benefits brokerage.

Publicly traded Baldwin, which just closed a merger with CAC Group, announced that former CAC CEO Erin Lynch is now president of specialty insurance, overseeing expansion of Baldwin’s offerings in that line. Lynch was with CAC for five years after leading a Brown & Brown subsidiary for 14 years. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism, according to her Linkedin page.

Hughes

Jeff Hughes was named president of middle-market insurance, overseeing employee benefits and commercial insurance needs across the country, the firm said in a news release. Since 2022, Hughes served as Baldwin’s Southeast president. Before that, he was managing director of the employee benefits group for BKS Partners, part of Baldwin Group.

Valerio

Joe Valerio was recently appointed chief operating officer for the insurance advisory solutions segment and he will continue to oversee client experience, broking and placement, and national operations. He previously was a division leader at World Insurance Associates and, prior to that, was with Willis Towers Watson.

The three will report to Dan Galbraith, president of The Baldwin Group.
