Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Names Timmins Southeast Region Chair

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation has named Sabrina Timmins, a senior vice president at CNA insurance, as chair of the foundation’s Southeast region.

Timmins heads the South regional for Chicago-based CNA, one of the largest commercial insurers in the United States. At IICF, she succeeds Dan Kennedy, managing executive at CRC Group who has been head of the charity’s Southeast region since early 2024, the foundation said in a news release.

Timmins has 20 years in the insurance business. She holds a master’s in business administration from Northwestern University. She also has served as fundraising and development committee head at IICF.

IICF, considered the insurance industry’s philanthropy for more than 30 years, provides grants and volunteer service for communities around the country. The group’s Southeast region has awarded $13.5 million in grants to more than 300 nonprofit partners for children at risk, disaster preparedness and relief, along with education grants and meals served to families in need.
