Woodruff-Sawyer and Frenkel Form ‘Environmental’ Alliance

In an effort to provide environmental risk management services to Bay Area construction, technology, real estate and other commercial clients, San Francisco-based Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. and New York-based Frenkel & Co. have formed a strategic alliance, creating the largest group of environmental insurance professionals of any independent agency.

The partnership brings together a multidisciplinary group of environmental attorneys, engineers, brokers and underwriters from both companies. Woodruff-Sawyer and Frenkel are both independent companies and both are active members of Assurex International.

The alliance provides businesses with access to consultation on issues including (but not limited to): contaminated site (brownfield) redevelopment, military base closures, hazardous materials management, manufacturing/industrial risk management, merger and acquisition liability management, environmental claims settlements, and protection for lending institutions against environmental liabilities.
