A new insurer is taking on the nonstandard auto market in California. Lincoln General Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Kingsway Financial Services Inc., is now licensed to start selling nonstandard auto insurance in the state.
Kingsway Financial sells nonstandard auto insurance through nine subsidiaries located throughout North America and also operates in standard automobile, property, motorcycle and other specialty markets. Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Kingsway employs approximately 1,000 people in Canada and the United States.
