San Diego-based brokerage firm Barney & Barney LLC and Salu Inc. entered into an agreement to provide Salu’s physician-specialist members with medical malpractice insurance coverage at competitive prices online.
The program, which is geared to help specialists obtain malpractice quotations, will be offered to Salu’s physician-specialist members in more than 40 states initially, with additional states added in the near future.
Neurologists, allergists, cardiologists and soon dermatologists, will find detailed information about Barney & Barney’s discounted medical malpractice insurance products on the Medical Specialty Hub™ designed for their specialty practice. Salu’s physician-specialist members can request medical malpractice insurance quotations by completing a brief “Premium Indication Request” form. This form initiates the quotation process. In a short time period, typically less than 24 hours, the physician-specialist will receive a preliminary quotation that is tailored to his or her specific needs.
Under the terms of the agreement, Salu physician-specialist members are eligible for significant program credits. Doctors will have the opportunity to receive the best rates available through Barney & Barney’s long-standing relationship with major regional and national insurance markets.
