Jim Yates, president of Yates & Associates, announced that Yates has opened another branch office in Glendale that will focus on larger commercial brokerage accounts.
The new staff includes Ravi Chopra, regional vice president; Barbara McClelland, vice president, Casualty; Marilyn Wert, vice president, Property; John Upchurch, assistant vice president, Casualty, EPLI/professional; Michelle LaFrenais, senior associate broker; and Gordon Chow, senior associate broker.
Maria Merzlikina is senior underwriter of the MGA Division in the new location. This seasoned team of professionals brings many years of combined expertise joining Yates & Associates from a major Los Angeles-based brokerage firm specializing in large commercial accounts.
“Adding an office in Glendale enhances our ability to service more agents and brokers,” Yates explained. “We’re looking to Ravi and his staff to move us into new areas and larger commercial accounts.”
