California Insurance Commissioner Harry W. Low announced a strategic reorganization of the executive management team of the California Department of Insurance (CDI), assigning Harry LeVine to be a Special Counsel to the Commissioner. LeVine has served as CEO of the Conservation and Liquidation Office (CLO) since Low brought the CLO into a direct reporting relationship early in his administration. LeVine now serves as Special Counsel to the Commissioner on high priority matters relating to estates under the control and jurisdiction of the CLO.
Loren Suter, Deputy Commissioner of Administration and Licensing Services at CDI, has served at the Conservation and Liquidation Office as Deputy CEO and will now take over as acting CEO.
