The Eighth Annual Insuring the Children Insurance Industry Forum last week in Anaheim raised nearly $65,000 for the cause.
“These monies will go far to fund programs desperately needed to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect and create a brighter future for our children,” Event chairman Peter Wallick said.
Among those in attendance were California Insurance Commissioner candidates Gary Mendoza and John Garamendi.
Since its inception in 1994, ITC has raised nearly $1,000,000 to assist child abuse prevention centers.
