California-based UltraLink, a provider of outsourced employee benefits administration, announced the addition of J. Stephen Ashley to its executive team as the company’s new vice president of consulting services. Ashley will be responsible for providing customers with a wide range of consulting services and directing UltraLink’s procurement services.
With more than 26 years of healthcare and benefit plan administration industry experience, Ashley has built a career developing innovative solutions throughout the healthcare supply-chain. In addition to his frequent speaking engagements on healthcare topics and publishing of numerous industry articles, he currently holds executive and committee positions with the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO) and Self-Insured Institute of America (SIIA).
Prior to joining UltraLink, Ashley served as vice president of business development at the ADMAR Corp., a regional network-based PPO, where he had previously served as the vice president of network services and executive director for the state of Florida.
