San Francisco-based U.S.I. Holdings Corporation announced that Robert S. Schneider has been appointed executive vice president and CFO. Schneider is currently USI’s executive vice president of Finance and Administration.
Schneider joined U.S.I. in Nov. 2002. Prior to joining USI, he served as vice president, Finance and Controller for Anthem Inc., where he was responsible for managing most financial functions. Schneider also served as vice president, Mergers & Acquisitions at Anthem.
In addition, Edward J. Bowler, currently U.S.I.’s senior vice president and CFO, has been appointed senior vice president, Corporate Development and will continue as a senior financial officer of U.S.I. His responsibilities will expand to include supporting U.S.I.’s focus on operations and acquisitions.
Schneider and Bowler will both serve as members of U.S.I.’s Executive Board.
