McClellan & Corren, a new law office, has opened its doors this summer in San Francisco.
Led by experienced attorneys Regina McClellan and Edye Corren, the firm represents insurers, third-party administrators, and employers in the defense of workers’ compensation and related civil matters arising in Northern California.
McClellan joined staff counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in 1996 and became a managing attorney in 1998, where she remained until starting McClellan & Corren. During her time with Liberty Mutual, she supervised attorney teams for clients such as UPS, Federal Reserve Bank, and Golden Eagle. She handled all aspects of litigation including depositions, conferences, arbitrations, mediations, trials, appeals, and oral argument before the First District Court of Appeal. Prior to her work at Liberty Mutual, she worked as a claims examiner and hearing representative for Helmsman Management Services, Inc.
Corren also worked as staff counsel for Liberty Mutual before opening McClellan & Corren.
While at Liberty Mutual, she assisted with supervising high value files and was team leader for structured settlements. She was involved in all aspects of litigation including depositions of applicants and experts, conferences, arbitrations, trials, and written appeals. Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, she worked for the Oakland firm of Schmit, Morris, Bittner & Schmit.
