Orta Joins Western Security Surplus as Broker

Rocio L. Orta recently joined Pasadena-based Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers Inc. as a broker. Orta will be responsible for servicing an existing book of business, as well as developing new business with new clients.

Orta has previously worked in the commercial lines arena, where she has served as an account manager, department manager and producer of her own book of business. She has worked at Limco Insurance and agencies such as Financial Guaranty Insurance, J. Gregory Brown & Company, Financial Guardian, GSCO Insurance Services and Saliba/Charter Insurance Services.

Orta has placed and serviced small, medium and jumbo accounts. Her area of expertise is in Executive Liability products such as Miscellaneous and Lawyer’s Professional Liability, EPLI, D&O and comprehensive programs for Financial Institutions.
