CompManagement Inc. (CMI) announced the acquisition of Octagon Risk Services Inc. (Octagon) on Oct. 3, 2003. CMI now enters the western United States by acquiring the strongest regional claims management firm in California, along with their existing 22 field offices located throughout the country. CMI is particularly pleased to announce the addition and planned expansion of Octagon professional liability services which will serve to enhance CMI’s portfolio of client service offerings.
Octagon’s administrative offices will remain in Oakland, Calif., and serve as the CMI base of operations for the western United States. The combined organization will employ over 1,000 associates located in 37 offices throughout the country.
