Lockton Insurance Brokers, the nation’s largest independently owned insurance broker, has named Michael Korn, Senior Vice President and Global Property practice leader. He will be based in Lockton’s recently opened San Francisco office.
Korn has been in the insurance industry for 18 years, including 12 years as Senior Vice President of Property Marketing with a national consulting firm where he was involved in structuring and placing large global property programs. In his new post, Korn will be responsible for the establishment of the Global Property practice, which compliments the company’s operations in Northern California.
Commenting on his appointment, Russ Sands, Chairman and CEO of Lockton/San Francisco, said, “We are excited to have Mike as part of our team. Lockton’s Global Property practice is growing and, with the addition of Mike, we will see even further growth here in the Bay Area.”
Korn is also currently an active member of various associations and risk management advisory committees.
