If the only penalty received was a fine and probation, where is the deterrant? I could not find mention of restitution or whether the attorney lost his license to practice law?

In his praise of the DOI’s success in prosecuting this case, the Commish should have added that these criminals “were also sent to bed without supper.” Probation and $500 fine? Why bother?

    3 years probation and $500.00
    1 year probation and $200.00

    That’s it!
